Hello, I am Captain Jim Hutson, an outdoor lifestyle and nature photographer from Charleston, South Carolina.  For almost two decades, I've had the privilege of working as a fishing guide in the low country, navigating its winding creeks, hidden flats, and tidal rhythms like a second nature. The saltwater marshes, tailing redfish, and early morning dolphin sightings have been the backdrop to countless unforgettable days on the water. Over time, my love for this place evolved beyond fishing- I felt a growing pull to capture its beauty through the lens. Photography and travel became a natural extention of my life outdoors, a way to freeze those fleeting moments that make the wild outdoors so special. Whether I'm guiding a client to their first redfish or chasing the perfect light at sunrise, my goal is always the same: to share the soul of this landscape with others.
